Website design - Aylestage Ltd

I just finished designing and implementing a website for a business, Aylestage Ltd. It was my first real attempt at a major web site design. Still working out all the kinks. Rebranding and designing it I decided to go for a fresh and vibrant look as the client had quite traditional tastes, so I kept it simple and clean.

Aylestead Ltd logo

This is the logo I have lovingly made for a new website I am making/rebranding for a small tractor company. The site is a work in progress.

HTML is fun after you get past the realisation that generally if it doesn't look right it's because you made a small spelling mistake that takes about two hours to find and correct, and leaves you hyperventilating.

Time, moon, heart.

I decided I would start a project about the moon, and time and heart, which translates into memory for me. Why. Cause they are some things which are important to me and I need to keep doing more portfolio stuff. It has turned into a bigger project than I imagined and I can't commit all the time it needs in one go so I decided it will be a project I will keep going back to. This is the moon logo, or at least the moon logo so far.

Bliss and Ignorance

Illustration based on Ignorance and bliss. I have several variations of this, but felt all of them were too much so went for the most simplified option. Spent too long on this.

Electronic Faith

So hopefully this marks the start of me doing more work and getting my design skills together and attempting to build up a new portfolio.

This was inspired by Pól, and his faith in me. And also partly by Hot Chip.
