So I think I may have neglected this for a while. Been busy animating and making real stuff for the television! Going to work on developing a showreel and portfolio etc and my own website in time. In the meantime, I made this recently, it's comic book related.

I just finished designing and implementing a website for a business, Aylestage Ltd. It was my first real attempt at a major web site design. Still working out all the kinks. Rebranding and designing it I decided to go for a fresh and vibrant look as the client had quite traditional tastes, so I kept it simple and clean.

This is the logo I have lovingly made for a new website I am making/rebranding for a small tractor company. The site is a work in progress.

HTML is fun after you get past the realisation that generally if it doesn't look right it's because you made a small spelling mistake that takes about two hours to find and correct, and leaves you hyperventilating.

I decided I would start a project about the moon, and time and heart, which translates into memory for me. Why. Cause they are some things which are important to me and I need to keep doing more portfolio stuff. It has turned into a bigger project than I imagined and I can't commit all the time it needs in one go so I decided it will be a project I will keep going back to. This is the moon logo, or at least the moon logo so far.

The top image is the final image I made using a template and some spray paint, and the other two images are the basis for it, both being photocopies of the original photo. Its all about reality fading... These are also from foundation year.

These images were taken with a camera then photo copied, with varying ink shades, to acheive the effect of erasing, as if reality was disappearing.
